About Our Pastor ...

The Reverend Allen Dale Wolfe was appointed to serve Adnah United Methodist Church in June of 2003.  A native of Jacksonville, FL, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lambuth University in Jackson, TN, and a Master of Divinity degree from Memphis (Tennessee) Theological Seminary. Mr. Wolfe was ordained a Deacon in 1977 and an Elder in 1981.

During his years as a student, and from 1979-1993, he served as pastor of various churches in the Memphis Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.  Relocating to South Carolina in 1993, he was appointed as Associate Pastor of Cayce UMC.  From 1997-2003, Reverend Wolfe was the pastor of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Gilbert SC.

Mr. Wolf is married to the former Judith (Judy) Skolnik.  They have one son, Adam Cohen, who is a 2004 graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta GA and is currently a volunteer with the Peace Corps in Burkina Faso in West Africa.

Reverend Wolfe has been active in district, conference, denomination, and community activities throughout his ministry, and he brings a wide variety of experience to the pastorate at Adnah UMC.     "I am extremely excited about becoming the pastor at Adnah," he said, not long after his arrival. "The community is growing and the church is poised to grow tremendously in the near future. The spirit of love and cooperation in our congregation is magnificent.  Great things are indeed happening at Adnah!"
